Thank you for taking the time to visit our school website. I am incredibly proud to be Head Teacher of this wonderful community school. Thomas’s Academy can be described in three words: Inclusive, innovative and inspirational. We have built our school upon the following Four Cornerstones:
‘Be Kind’ – We are a values-led school, you only need to visit us to see this.
‘Learn to Learn’ – We focus on five Learning Attitudes: 'Be reflective', 'Be inquisitive', 'Be creative', 'Be collaborative' and 'Be positive'. These help us to be excellent learners.
‘Grow Together’ – refers to the global-mindedness and commitment to inclusivity that is embedded throughout the Academy.
‘Create Beauty’ – creating work of excellence and genuine depth is an expectation for all of our pupils.
You are encouraged to visit us. We carry out weekly tours on a Wednesday which can be booked here.
